My name is Faheem Sodagar. I'm a GPhC Registered pharmacy professional with thirteen-plus years working across community, hospital, GP practice, PCN, online, and dispensing-doctor settings — and I build the AI that Healthcare Consultant Solutions ships.

The breadth matters. What earns its place at a busy multiple community pharmacy is not the same as what earns its place at a dispensing doctors' branch, or an online-only setup, or a hospital outpatient dispensary. Every one of those settings has a different call pattern, a different peak, a different bottleneck, a different regulatory concern.

Alongside that, I build the software. Not "commission it from a partner and slap my name on it" — build it. The AI Receptionist is written, tested, and iterated on by the same person who has stood behind a pharmacy counter in three counties. When the receptionist reads back a prescription status, the wording it uses is the wording someone who has answered that call a thousand times would use.

Every capability decision in the AI passes through that same lens: would it work at the busy branch on a Thursday afternoon in December? If the answer is "not really", the capability doesn't ship.

Independent community pharmacy in the UK is under pressure. Fee income is tighter. Staff time is scarcer. Patient expectations are higher. And a growing number of AI vendors have arrived at the door with product decks written by people who have never opened a controlled-drug register.

The result — most of the time — is either an AI product that doesn't understand the pharmacy well enough to work, or a pharmacist who is (rightly) too suspicious of the pitch to buy. Neither party is wrong. Both parties are stuck.
